We've been avoiding the mall like the plague, but fortunately the big guy in red makes a visit to the Virginia Aquarium & Marine Science Center each year... to which we just happen to have a membership. GO US!
They let us take as many pictures as we wanted with our own camera--no pressure to buy the one they took. Again, GO US!
Emma wasn't afraid of Santa one bit, which made it a really nice experience. The only thing she got upset about was wanting to see the otters instead of waiting in line, but fortunately it was a quick wait and we were able to keep her frustrations at bay. Here's a look at her first memories of ever meeting good ol' Santa Nick...
Santa also asked Mama to take a seat on his lap so that Emma and Chloe could have their first picture together with him. Awkward? Yes, just a bit. Memories worth keeping? Most definitely. ;)
